I'm graduating! Finally! (after much hard work) My commencement is tomorrow and I'm excited! I'm having a graduation party on Friday from 11am-8pm (you don't have to stay that long). Everyone is invited! Gifts are welcome but not necessary.

so, as many of you know, my birthday is on sunday, and people have already asked me what I wanted, so I thought I'd put together a list:
DVDs:
Saw III
The Grudge II
The Descent
and any other good horror movies
I also am really fond of clothes- skirts and shirts, and I am looking for some nice bitch-stopping boots [some I can wear with all my goth stuff, so black and lacing up at least (in my dreams :D)] but my size is 8 and 1/2
and anything Jrock, I like jrock a lot. Music just rocks.
I was also thinking I wanted WoW:Burning Crusade, but it might be lower on the list now - I kind of need a new computer game to play I think
and lastly, I always do like fantasy and fairy tale books.

so I'm too hurty to actually explain this again, so I'm copying an aim conversation of how my finals week went
(23:20:12) bunnymistressaya: well this week was finals week and everything was going pretty good until Tuesday night
(23:20:39) bunnymistressaya: I was really hurting but I went an took my final
(23:20:45) bunnymistressaya: and then
(23:21:00) bunnymistressaya: I didn't know the meaning of true miserableness
(23:21:13) bunnymistressaya: and then wesd rolls around
(23:21:21) bunnymistressaya: and I can't get out of bed
(23:22:32) bunnymistressaya: (my mom thought I had a UTI tues night and started me on some meds) I have horrible abdominal pains and a high fever, so we went down to urgent care
(23:22:45) gamsnark: ouch
(23:23:07) gamsnark: yeah, my mother had UTI a few times recently
(23:23:34) bunnymistressaya: they do nurmerous tests on me even x-rays (too make sure it's not appendicitis)
(23:24:22) bunnymistressaya: they think its a UTI too, so they give me this incredibly painful shot in the rear and send me home after like 3 hours

(23:25:02) gamsnark: feeling better?
(23:25:42) bunnymistressaya: I go in for a check up in the morning and I'm feeling about the same as wed sans fever and they're like cool, how bout we give you more UTI meds, and then they send me on my way
(23:26:08) bunnymistressaya: my mom drops me off at my house and tells me to call her if I get a fever again
(23:26:59) bunnymistressaya: so I sleep/watch movies through the day feeling crappy, the pain not gone away and when 5 rolls around I have a fever of 102.9

(23:27:31) bunnymistressaya: so my mom comes down and checks me out, calls the doctor and call who advises her to take me to the ER
(23:27:40) bunnymistressaya: so off to the ER we go
(23:28:26) bunnymistressaya: they get me on a bed pretty fast (for that I am thankful) and I kind of dose off until the nurse comes and puts an iv in me
(23:29:03) bunnymistressaya: thankfully they gave me some kind of sedative so I was sleeping most of the 6 and 1/2 we were there
(23:29:46) bunnymistressaya: but they made me do another urine sample, drew like ten vials of blood and did a cat scan
(23:30:05) gamsnark: ick, hate blood tests
(23:31:01) bunnymistressaya: because they were like, you are one strange girl still having symptoms, but no bactiria in my urine, and the pain hasn't gone away when most people would be like doublly cured by now
(23:31:33) gamsnark: so, not a UTI then?
(23:31:41) bunnymistressaya: well it turns out my right kidney was inflamed and was the source of most of my pain
(23:31:51) bunnymistressaya: naw just a crazy UTI
(23:32:08) gamsnark: yeah, sounds painful
(23:32:29) bunnymistressaya: then I proceeded to trow up my pills this morning, but at least I feeling somewhat better now

(23:32:49) gamsnark: poor girl
(23:32:54) bunnymistressaya: oh and I missed a final because of this
(23:33:07) bunnymistressaya: like worst week ever to get this sick

(23:33:34) bunnymistressaya: that's like the sickest I've ever been in my life
(23:34:43) gamsnark: well, just take it easy. make your boyfriend your slave for a few days

(23:36:02) bunnymistressaya: this wasn't the kind of beginning to break I was looking forward to
(23:36:25) gamsnark: heh, yeah
(23:37:16) bunnymistressaya: I'm so sensitive, I have bruises where they drew my blood
(23:37:29) bunnymistressaya: oh and cat scan fluid tastes foul
so there is my finals week. *dies*

btw it's really funny when you show up for class 7 minutes late only to find that your class lasted an almighty 10 minutes, well at least it's more time to write all of the fricken papers I need to.
between last night and today I will have written a total of 16-17 pages (at least I hope)

So I find myself unexpectedly moving.Gene (our landlord) raised the price to $900 without promising to fix any of our house problems, making excuses for not fixing them. Joel, not being happy, is moving and invited Nathan too, and without a 5th, we decided that it would be better to just move. So myself and Josh, along with my brother and his girlfriend are looking for a new place. A couple things I'm looking forward to:
-new internet connection that works- ours now boots us every 1 hour and 12 minutes or so and no one can seem to solve the problem.
-an excuse to get rid of some stuff- I think I have too many clothes and Josh is a packrat, so maybe we can get rid of some stuff
- hopefully a better landlord- ours now says he will fix things, but when he comes into town, the only thing he does is mess with the yard
- less leaks - a drippy place isn't all that fun
- a real kitchen- not some stupid painted sunroom that has no shelfs and a drippy sink and is freezing
things I might miss:
- a big room- I have a pretty big room now, it's nice but not a necessity I think
- being so close to UNM- but its only one more semester and I think I can deal with one semester of riding my bike farther and its possible we could get another place just as close
finals are breathing down my back, but I'm not freaking out too much, I just hope I get everything done that needs to be done before Thursday done.
and I realized I only really fantasize when I don't get any

I'm sooo tired of papers, I always have some to write. It makes me very sad. Hopefully these midterms will be easy to write (I hope) and I can get back to researching my thesis. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day for homework and fun. I hope I'm not falling to behind on my thesis ;_; (so stressed!)

I have been having lots of strange dreams lately, some are weird and some just frighten me. But that's not the point of this entry.
I decided that I needed to write some of the things that I have noticed living here in Japan.
*Fashion*
Girls here make me feel underdressed. Everyday. Girls always turn up to school with fashionable outfits, nice hair, high heels (which must be killer on their feet), and different bags everyday. I never see a girl that has that I rolled out of bed and ran to school look that some Americans have on somedays. And on top of that, the fashionable stuff look way more dressy than what is popular fashion in th states. Turning up in a t-shirt and jeans in totally underdressed, especialy with a backback. The clothes that made me feel overdressed in America, still make me feel underdressed here, because of my (sometimes) lack of effort I put into my hair or my bulky backback.
*Price of living*
Yeah, Japan is pretty expensive to live in, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The food can be moderately expensive, but there are cheap places. I did make it just using my scholarship (80,000yen-rent 30,000 and utilities)and I even got a electronic dictionary (around 30,000yen) without having to touch my normal back account. And I eat out quite a bit. So overall I think it really isn't as expensive as I was expecting.
everything is still pretty exciting here, although I am getting more and more homesick. I was thinking it might be best if I went to someone at school.

It's one of those days again. A day where you know that you cannot be statisfied by anything. Previous pleasures hold no value to you, you search for something to even distract you for a fraction of a second. Your body is so restless you have to look for smethig for yur hands to do. A day were nothing seems to go right and everything goes wrong, what can you do? You stare hopelessly at the screen... and wonder are you the only one that feels this way?

Things have been going well here in Japan. Today is the first day since Tuesday that I haven't had anything school related to do. And today is the first day that I can say I'm proad of my cooking, because I actually cooked something decent today(as in cooked a full meal). Yay.
Yesterday we had a big welcome party for all the new exchange students at NUFS. It was fun, but too croaded for my taste. They had really good food as well, they had all kinds of cute little desserts. I love Japan and their cute desserts. Afterwards there was another party for people living at Proxy, but I wasn't feeling up to it after the big one at NUFS so I skipped it.
Today I'm going shopping for all the nessicary things that I found I needed after living in my apartment for a few days. Kind of boring, but oh well. Maybe I'll stop back here for some more internet afterwards. I'm kind of hoping I can get internet in my room so that I can play WoW, I miss it :( With just the computer to keep you company it gets boring.
I'm kind of looking forward to school starting for the social interaction, sad as that is. Hopefully I can meet some cool Jqapanese friends who can take me to do interesting things on the weekend.
